Pure sound starts with better tuning
LefreQue sound bridges improve the tuning and performance of all Woodwind & Brass instruments. We believe that a pure sound is key to enjoy making music. Pure sound starts with better tuning. Most wind instruments consist of two or more segments (i.e. mouthpiece/receiver, head joint/body/foot joint etc.) The joints between these segments influence the quality of sound in your instrument. LefreQue offers a revolutionary way to overcome the acoustical impact.
We want to help all wind players to create their best sound. How? LefreQue bridges the frequency-dependent resistance of the joints, so your tone can move freely through the material of the instrument. Given the right material combination and size for your specific instrument, the effect will be phenomenal. Our product line is suitable for all wind instruments and will empower all levels of players from beginner to top class professional.

Operating from our Headquarter and production facilities in Holland we ship our revolutionary sound bridges all over the world. LefreQue is a privately held, innovative company, with an informal culture. We have a strong focus on customer needs and service.
Hans Kuijt founded the company in 2008. He graduated with honour from the Amsterdam Conservatory and plays both Flute and Saxophone. In his endeavour to continuously improve his professional performance Hans invented the sound bridge. After three years of prototyping, the first lefreQue sound bridge was introduced into the market in 2011. We will continue our R&D to improve and expand our product line.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy making music regardless of age, level, background or financial situation. It is our goal to contribute to achieve just that. That is also why we invested in developing a tutorial lefreQue for kids. After extensive research, we selected a high-tech, yet affordable, composite material. The characteristics of this product are especially suitable for tutorial purposes. It offers the exact combination of benefits that beginners need to master their first wind instrument. The tutorial lefreQue enhances accurate tuning and makes virtually all starter wind instruments easier to handle. Using it accelerates progress, inducing more fun and greater excitement. The tutorial LefreQue will become available soon.
