Loo Kit Chong

"I have been using Le freque since the previous generation of bands where only a silicon band was used to hold the two pieces together. Together with the yellow brass, red brass and silver plated versions, I have enjoyed using them on my various trumpets to find the best resonance & feedback. With the newest addition of the rose- gold plated soundbridge, I have rediscovered a brilliance in my Conn Vintage One Rose-Brass Bb trumpet. I highly recommend trying out the various materials available to find the best fit for the instrument & the player. Thank you lefreQue for such an amazing invention!"

Loo Kit graduated with both Master's and Bachelor's degrees from The Boston Conservatory, under Tom Siders and Steven Emery. Before his adventures in the States, Loo Kit's main trumpet teachers in Singapore were Yap Thien Soo and Jun Ikebe.
While in Boston, he performed with a number of orchestras, such as the New England Repertory Orchestra, Boston New Music Initiative and the Video Game Orchestra. With the Video Game Orchestra, Loo Kit has had performances in Symphony Hall, Boston, and also recorded for the soundtrack of [Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns]. Other orchestra engagements include performances with the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra (Singapore), The Philharmonic Orchestra (Singapore) and Orchestra of Music Makers (Singapore).
